GAHS Assistant Principals:
Grades 9 & 11 - Mrs. Reiber
Grades 10 & 12 - Mr. Crable

School Hours:  The hours for high school students will be 7:30 a.m. – 2:27 p.m.   For safety purposes, doors will not be open for students to enter the building in the morning until 7:05 a.m.   In addition, students who do not have scheduled after-school activities should exit the building no later than 2:50 p.m. each day.

Student Parking: Student parking fees at the high school are $25.  Parking spaces in the back parking lot are numbered, and students will purchase a parking pass with the corresponding number for their assigned space.  This process will take place within the first two weeks of the new school year.  Students will receive more information once they return to school.

Bus Information: The district transportation department will notify families of bus routes, pick up/drop off times, and bus stop information for each student.  For the first week, parents and students should expect delays in pick up and drop off times—as much as 30 minutes—due to students and bus drivers learning new routes and stops.  Students should plan to arrive early to the bus stop and wait patiently as everyone adjusts to the new routine.

Career Tech Students: Greencastle-Antrim High School students attending the Franklin County Career and Technology Center first semester will begin classes on August 22 after an extended homeroom at Greencastle-Antrim High School.

Keystone Exam Results: We have received preliminary Keystone Exam Data from the 2018-2019 school year.  We will continue to work together during the upcoming school year to focus on student growth.  The individual reports will be shared with families when students return to school in the fall.  Keystone Exams for first semester of the 2019-2020 school year will be administered January 6-10, 2020.  Second semester Keystone Exams will be administered May 11-15, 2020.  We will continue to operate on a regular schedule during these testing days.

College Advisor: Through a continued partnership with Franklin and Marshall and The National College Advising Corps, GAHS welcomes Mr. James Hoon, College Advisor. Mr. Hoon will work with students and their families to provide one-on-one college and financial aid advising.  In its ninth year, this program has already proven to be of great benefit to GAHS students and their families.  Parents and students are encouraged to take advantage of this excellent resource.

Food Service General Information: The Greencastle-Antrim School District operates under the regulations of the National School Lunch Program in each building and is under the supervision of Mrs. Nancy K. Foust, Director of Food Services.

• High school lunch for the 2019-2020 school year will cost $2.80. Milk will be $0.50 and the reduced lunch price will remain at $0.40.

• High School breakfast for the 2018-2019 school year will cost $1.65 and the reduced breakfast price is $0.30.

Lunch menus and student lunch account information is available by visiting the Food Services Department on this website.  Households without access to a computer should contact the district food service office at 717-597-3226, ext. 50505, for more information.

School Supplies: High school students should come to school the first day with pencils, pens and notebook paper.  Teachers will inform students of any additional supplies they will need in each of their classes.

As summer quickly winds down, the faculty and staff of the Greencastle-Antrim School District look forward to the 2019-2020 school year.  Local residents are reminded to slow down as they travel area roads, and look out for students and school buses. We are G-A Proud!
