Social Studies

Our social studies department provides opportunities for students to become life-long learners, productive citizens and critical thinkers. We encourage students to develop an appreciation for their role in our multicultural, democratic society as they examine the past, reflect upon the present and prepare for the future.

What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us.
- Ralph Waldo Emerson
