Welcome to the GAHS Student Center for School/Career Counseling

Our Guidance Department is committed to providing a comprehensive and developmental program that empowers all students to achieve success in and out of school by becoming life-long learners and productive citizens.

Our uniquely qualified school counselors work throughout the school year to address the developmental needs of all students through a child-centered, preventive and developmental approach that ensures all of our students benefit from the counseling program.

Academic Development

Career Development

Personal/Social Development
  • Acquiring skills, attitudes, and knowledge that helps students understand and respect self and others

  • Becoming contributing members of society

In addition, our school counseling and guidance program assists all students in:
